How to Reserve a Hotel Room
Reservation Deadline
The official PCMA Housing deadline of December 22, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. CST has now passed. Hotel reservations can be made directly with the MGM Grand and The Signature at the MGM Grand beginning December 23 by calling 800.929.1111 and mentioning the PCM009 code ($89) for MGM Grand or the PCM988 code ($139 inclusive of resort fee) for The Signature at the MGM Grand to receive the group rates mentioned above for the nights January 9 – January 13. Current registrants with a hotel reservation cannot make changes until Dec. 30.

NEW AND IMPORTANT FOR 2011:By staying within the official PCMA housing block at the MGM Grand/MGM Grand Signature, you are helping PCMA keep overall registration fees lower than they otherwise would be. Our partners at MGM Grand are extending an $89 USD plus tax room rate over the official conference dates (Sunday, January 9 through Thursday, January 13). For 2011, you will save $200 USD on your registration fee by staying within the official PCMA housing block at the MGM Grand/MGM Grand Signature. MGM Grand:
Early Arrival on Friday, January 7, 2011 and Saturday, January 8, 2011: $189 USD per room, per night, single or double occupancy plus 12 % Clark County room tax.
A charge of $35 USD will be added for each guest over double occupancy with a maximum of four (4) guests per room.
There will be no additional charge for children twelve (12) years of age and under when occupying the same room with an adult using the existing bedding.
The Signature at MGM Grand:
Early Arrival on Friday, January 7, 2011 and Saturday, January 8, 2011: $199 USD per suite, per night, single to quad occupancy plus 12% Clark County room tax.
The resort fee, which is subject to change, will afford the following services:
- Internet access (in-suite and public areas)
- Two (2) bottles of water per room, per day
- Local and 800 number phone calls
- Access to The Signature Fitness Center
- In-suite private label coffee
- Valet Parking
The Signature is a NON SMOKING facility. This includes all public and private areas of the property.
Clark County room tax, presently at twelve percent (12%), will be applied to the above rates, as well as to the resort fee.
Information/Change/Cancellation
- All housing reservations must be made through the 2011 PCMA Housing Bureau and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability may be limited at hotels.
- Only one reservation allowed per form. Only one room allowed per registrant.
- You must register for Convening Leaders prior to booking your hotel reservation. When you register for the meeting online, the housing reservation process follows the meeting registration. For fax and mailed registration, please submit registration and housing forms together.
- Questions should be directed to the PCMA Housing Bureau at 800.428.3035 (Toll-free U.S & Canada) or 514.228.3035 (International).
- Acknowledgements of reservation request will be sent after each reservation form is received/processed, as well as each time a reservation is modified/changed and/or cancelled. For online registration/housing, acknowledgement is immediate. For faxed/mailed forms, acknowledgements will be sent within 2 business days of completion of processing. Please review acknowledgements carefully for accuracy. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 14 days of submission, please call the PCMA Housing Bureau at 800.428.3035 (Toll-free U.S & Canada) or 514.228.3035 (International).
- Reservations ONLY require a credit card number guarantee.
- All hotel room rates are subject to applicable hotel taxes in effect at the time of check-in (currently 12% - subject to change without notice).
- PCMA discounted room rates are applicable January 6 - 15, 2011, subject to availability.
- A portion of the room rate is used to offset the expense of housing services.
- Hotel reservation changes and/or cancellations to another hotel within the PCMA room block will be accepted until Wednesday, December 22, 2010 by accessing your registration/housing record on the website or via the PCMA Housing Bureau in writing via e-mail at PCMA@Laser-Registration.com. Cancellations without rebooking in the PCMA hotel block will be assessed a $25 USD processing fee. Changes and/or cancellations and rebooking of a reservation will be accepted by the hotels beginning Tuesday, December 29 and only based on availability.
- Cancellations for all PCMA participating hotels must be received a minimum of 72 hours prior to arrival. A first night room and tax non-refundable processing fee may be automatically charged to the credit card on file by the hotel for cancellations within 72 hours of arrival and no shows.
- Out of town attendees staying outside of the PCMA Convening Leaders housing block (MGM Grand/MGM Grand Signature) will be charged an additional $200 USD on conference registration. If you later cancel your MGM Grand Hotel reservation, your credit card will automatically be charged (or you will be invoiced) an additional $200 USD for your registration fee.
