Deadlines

  • Wednesday, November 3, 2010 by 5:00 p.m. (CST) - Deadline for regular registration. Higher fees will apply after this date and onsite. Mailed registrations must be RECEIVED by this date to qualify for regular registration fees.
  • Thursday, December 16, 2010 - Deadline for registration refunds (less processing fees).
  • Wednesday, December 22, 2010 - Deadline for booking hotel reservations at the MGM Grand/MGM Grand Signature Hotel.

Bulk Registrations:

One-on-One Partners and Planners:

  • The first 200 PCMA Members to register in advance for Virtual Edge Summit with Convening Leaders registration will not only receive Wednesday, January 12 programming, but also Virtual Edge Summit on Thursday, January 13 at no additional cost (a $500 value).
  • All PCMA attendees will receive Wednesday’s Virtual Edge Summit programming for no additional cost with pre-registration. Add Thursday for only $99 USD.

Non-Members:

Bring a Client or Planner

Purchase a 2011 Convening Leaders gift certificate  for your planner customers for PCMA's 55th annual meeting: Convening Leaders in Las Vegas Jan. 9-12. Gift certificates for professional planner registration only cost $545 USD for one or purchase 10 or more for $500 USD each. Gift certificates are non-refundable.

Please note: Many pre-conference workshops and community service activities require additional fees; please indicate session/event choice and fees when you register. Most education sessions do not require tickets. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Many optional sessions, activities and events are ticketed and applicable tickets will be included in credentials onsite.

NEW AND IMPORTANT FOR 2011: By staying within the official PCMA housing block, at the MGM Grand/MGM Grand Signature, you are helping PCMA keep overall registration fees lower than they otherwise would be. Our partners at MGM Grand are extending an $89 USD plus tax room rate over the official conference dates (Sunday, January 9 through Thursday, January 13). For 2011, you will save $200 USD on your registration fee by staying within the official PCMA housing block at the MGM Grand/MGM Grand Signature. Take advantage of the convenience, attendee camaraderie and of course, savings, by staying within the block.

Attendees staying out of the PCMA Convening Leaders housing block (MGM Grand/MGM Grand Signature) will be charged an additional $200 USD on conference registration. If you later cancel your MGM Grand Hotel reservation, your credit card will automatically be charged (or you will be invoiced) an additional $200 USD for your registration fee.

Montréal Serves Breakfast in Bed during PCMA Convening Leaders
Tourisme Montréal and its partners will be treating PCMA attendees to its hugely popular - and delicious! - Breakfast in Bed on Wednesday, January 12, during PCMA Convening Leaders in Las Vegas. Delegates are invited to register at the Tourisme Montréal booth right near the registration area from Saturday, January 8, to Tuesday, January 11, to receive a sumptuous breakfast delivered right to their door. It's a great way to relax and treat yourself to a little "me-time" before a busy day.

*Associate members who have attended one PCMA annual meeting at the member rate must upgrade their membership in order to register for the meeting at the member rate. Please contact PCMA Membership at membership@pcma.org to upgrade membership prior to registering.

**Guest refers to a spouse, significant other or personal friend, NOT a business associate, staff colleague or fellow student. Guest registration will NOT allow access to any sessions except evening receptions on Sunday and Tuesday evenings.

***One Day Registration includes sessions and social events on selected day only.

Payment/Change/Cancellation/Refund Policy

  1. Full payment must accompany your registration form. Credit card payment must be included for online and faxed registrations. Check payment will only be accepted with mailed forms. Registration fees will be shown on credit card statements as PCMA 2011 Annual Meeting. Checks for registration fees should be made payable to PCMA. One check may be used to include registration fees and member fees and must be accompanied by both registration and housing forms. Checks will be processed electronically. If you do not want your check converted electronically, use the credit card option.
  2. Attendee replacements by another PCMA Member who is a business colleague or co-worker will be accepted; a $50 USD processing fee will apply to all requests until December 16, 2010 by 5:00 p.m. CST. A $75 USD processing fee will apply to all requests after this date and onsite. Attendee replacement must complete the full registration and housing forms with written request by the replaced attendee.
  3. Cancellation of registration (including payment plan) must be submitted in writing via email and must be dated on or before 5:00 p.m. CST on December 16, 2010 to receive a refund less a $140 USD registration cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted after December 16, 2010. Pre-meeting workshops and optional ticketed sessions purchased are subject to a $25 USD (each) cancellation processing fee. Student, Faculty and Guest cancellations are subject to a $50 USD cancellation processing fee. There are no refunds for charitable events. After December 16, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. CST no refunds will be granted. No refunds for no-shows. Note to ACOM one-day registrants: Due to the discounted registration fee, if cancellation occurs at any time, no refund will be granted to ACOM registrants attending one day of Convening Leaders.
  4. PCMA Registration is not responsible for faxes not received due to mechanical failure or circumstances beyond its control.

Badges

Attendees registering in advance may pick up badge and registration materials at the Advance Registration desk at the MGM during hours indicated above for Onsite Registration. Please note that photo ID will be required to pick up badges/materials. Students must show valid student identification in order to pick up badges/materials if registered at the student rate. Attendees will not be allowed to pick up other attendee badges/materials.
