Community Service
Donation Drive – Do you have birthday, thank you, and holiday cards that you’ve received and never thrown away? This is the perfect way to recycle them and help out an important charity. The goal is to donate 10,000 cards!
Help St. Jude’s Ranch for Children: pack all of your old greeting cards and bring them to Convening Leaders.
How does it work?
The designed part of your card is removed and affixed to a blank card. The residents sell these cards and the proceeds benefit the facility and residents of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
Donation Drive is part of the PCMA Network for the Needy initiatives that are supported through founding partner, Global Experience Specialists (GES).
Party With a Purpose – Don’t miss this popular event at Tryst located at the Wynn Las Vegas which has raised more than $1.7 million in charitable donations.
Hospitality Helping Hands - Step out of the MGM Grand and help a local charity on Sunday. Assist in a painting project to beautify U.S. Vets housing facilities and reception areas or assist in a landscaping and painting project to beautify the Women and Children Campus. Participant's entire $75 USD registration fee will go directly to the charity. Pre-registration is required.

PCMA is committed to educating our members on green meeting practices, conducting our meetings and organization in an environmentally friendly way and moving our industry toward a more ecologically responsible future.
Greening the Meeting
PCMA uses the MeetGreen® Calculator to help guide the green meeting efforts, focusing on the areas outlined in the CIC Green Meetings Report including: Destination Selection, Accommodations Selection, Meeting & Venue Selection, Transportation Selection, Food & Beverage Selection, Communications & Marketing, and Onsite Office.
PCMA has teamed up with Carbonfund.org to offset the carbon footprint of PCMA Convening Leaders. Offset your carbon travel emissions by contributing $8.09 USD and help green the meeting. Mark this option on your registration.
